Exposed Aggregate
The natural beauty of stones set in durable concrete is hard-wearing and versatile. In exposed aggregate finishes, the aggregates (the stones and/or sands) near the surface are revealed. The exposed range is created through a process where by the natural textures of numerous stones like pebble, shells, or silicate and crushed Quarry stone are exposed; these would otherwise be concealed by a thin layer of cement. It provides an attractive and easy-to-maintain option for pathways, driveways, pool surrounds, patios and pergola areas.
We can match or contrast colours with aggregates from different regions along with a range of color oxides added to the mix. There are a number of techniques for producing exposed aggregate finishes, each creating a different and distinctive appearance.
Exposed aggregate is a much more prefered option of concrete due to the texture and look of the ‘exposed’ surface and can be used wherever normal concrete is laid.
